Payne has over 15 years of experience in marketing in commercial retail, property management, manufacturing, and higher education, working for Simon Property Group, Indiana University, and most recently Viking Companies in Gainesville, FL where she was responsible for all community relations, tourism, and business development of the over one million square feet mixed-use site, Celebration Pointe.
